D.U.C.K.Our line
What we deliberately don't build.
This is an app about a night out, so the line has to be drawn in the product, not in a disclaimer.
Enforced in code, not in fine print- No drinking leaderboards.
No ranking for who drank the most, and no reward for drinking faster.
- No driving guidance, ever.
There's an optional blood-alcohol estimate. You enter two profile fields to get one, the maths runs on your phone, and it will never tell you you're fine to drive. Nothing in this app can tell you that.
- No invented numbers.
No fake reviews, ratings, or crowd counts. Every number in the app is a real one, or it isn't shown.
- No ad tech.
No third-party analytics SDKs, not one cookie. Sharing stops when you end the session, and none of it is ever sold.
It shares where you are with one person you choose. It doesn't watch over you and never alerts anyone by itself. That's what 911 is for.
In writing
The fine print exists too.
The app went through a 49-finding legal, privacy and accessibility audit before launch. Every critical finding is closed.
Hold us to it.
If you see something in the app that crosses this line, tell us. A person reads it.
